Дмитро народився у Конотопі, на Сумщині, і переїхав до Канади у 2022 році, внаслідок повномасштабної війни. Через рік після переїзду він приєднався до МУНО, де одразу знайшов те, що шукав — спільноту щирих, небайдужих людей, які готові підтримати одне одного та діяти заради спільного блага.

За фахом Дмитро має подвійний бекграунд — він бакалавр юриспруденції та магістр економіки. Проте в серці він — волонтер, мандрівник, і людина, яка не терпить байдужості. Його волонтерство — це не лише спосіб допомоги іншим, а й глибоке внутрішнє переконання: бути тим, хто подасть руку, коли інші відвернулися.

У МУНО Дмитра надихає атмосфера дії, творчості, тепла й командної роботи. Його перше пам’ятне волонтерство — подорож із командою в табір і перша спільна ватра, яка запам’яталася відчуттям єдності та духу пригод. Активна залученість в проєкті “Твори добро” переконала Дмитра, що діти — це найвразливіша частина суспільства, про яку потрібно дбати найбільше. Вони — майбутнє сильної й вільної України.

МУНО подарувало йому не лише досвід, а й нових друзів, впевненість у собі, навички командної роботи й натхнення змінювати світ навколо. У вільний час Дмитро мандрує, катається на велосипеді та мотоциклі, а ще — відкриває для себе нові можливості для служіння іншим.

Серед постатей, що надихають Дмитра, — не історичні герої, а його друг дитинства Руслан, який зараз служить на передовій. Його мужність, прямолінійність і відданість Україні — найсильніша мотивація.

Мрія Дмитра — радикальна, але щира: повне зникнення російської федерації як державного утворення, адже він переконаний — війна не закінчиться зі смертю одного диктатора, лише зі зміною всієї системи.

📍 Konotop, Sumy Oblast → Canada, since 2022

Dmytro was born in Konotop, Sumy Oblast, and moved to Canada in 2022 due to the full-scale war. A year after relocating, he joined UNYF, where he immediately found what he had been looking for — a community of sincere, compassionate people who are ready to support one another and act for the common good.

Professionally, Dmytro has a dual background — he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a Master’s degree in Economics. But in his heart, he is a volunteer, a traveler, and someone who cannot tolerate indifference. For him, volunteering is not only a way to help others but also a deep internal conviction: to be the one who extends a hand when others turn away.

At UNYF, Dmytro is inspired by the atmosphere of action, creativity, warmth, and teamwork. His first memorable volunteering experience was a trip with the team to a camp, and the first shared campfire that left a lasting impression with its sense of unity and adventure. His active involvement in the “Spread the Kindness” project convinced him that children are the most vulnerable part of society and must be cared for the most. They are the future of a strong and free Ukraine.

UNYF has given him not just experience, but also new friends, self-confidence, teamwork skills, and the inspiration to change the world around him. In his free time, Dmytro enjoys traveling, cycling, and motorcycling, as well as exploring new opportunities to serve others.

Among the people who inspire Dmytro are not historical heroes, but his childhood friend Ruslan, who is currently serving on the front lines. His courage, straightforwardness, and dedication to Ukraine are Dmytro’s strongest motivation.

Dmytro’s dream is radical but sincere: the complete disappearance of the russian federation as a state entity. He firmly believes that the war will not end with the death of one dictator — only with the dismantling of the entire system.

Three words that represent UNYF to him: creativity, activity, inspiration.
