Join us for a special rally dedicated to the Remembrance Day of the fallen defenders of Ukraine (August 29th).
As part of our tribute, we will place small Ukrainian flags around the Holodomor monument near City Hall, following a tradition in Ukraine to honour those who have sacrificed their lives. We will also take a short walk around the downtown area, carrying portraits of Ukrainian fallen heroes.
You are encouraged to bring your own portraits to carry during the walk and small flags to place near the monument.
Together, let’s remember and pay our respects to those who have fought for Ukraine’s freedom. We look forward to seeing you there and standing united in this meaningful act of remembrance.
