Софія приїхала до Канади у 2022 році з рідного Львова, і з перших кроків тут намагалася не втратити себе — а навпаки, ще більше відкритися світові. Вона має освіту кухаря-кондитера, і продовжує займатися тим, що любить найбільше — створює солодкі шедеври: тортики, десерти, смаки, які дарують радість і нагадують про дім. А ще — вона працює на кухні, перетворюючи щоденні справи на мистецтво.

До МУНО Софія приєдналася у 2023 році й одразу стала частиною теплого, дружнього й натхненного колективу. Волонтерство для неї — це не лише спосіб допомогти іншим, а й можливість творити щось класне, щире, живе. Серед проектів, які найбільше запам’ятались, — “Код нації 2023”, де вона відповідала за конкурси: весело, організовано й дуже по-своєму.

Софія приносить до МУНО свою енергію, щирість, бажання бути корисною. Її мрія — розвиватися далі, брати участь у більшій кількості ініціатив, робити щось для людей. Вона вірить у ріст організації, у нових учасників, у ще більше подій і ще тепліше ком’юніті.

У вільний час Софія читає — книги, як і десерти, для неї — ковток натхнення. А ще вона мріє відкрити в Канаді власну справу — маленький бізнес, який буде частинкою України тут, серед нових реалій, нових людей і нових можливостей. Бо найкраще — коли з любов’ю.

Sofiia came to Canada in 2022 from Lviv, and from her very first steps here, she tried not to lose herself — on the contrary, she opened up to the world even more. She has a professional education as a cook and pastry chef and continues doing what she loves most — creating sweet masterpieces: cakes, desserts, and flavours that bring joy and remind people of home. She also works in a kitchen, turning everyday tasks into art.

Sofiia joined UNYF in 2023 and immediately became part of a warm, friendly, and inspiring team. Volunteering for her is not only a way to help others but also a chance to create something cool, sincere, and alive. Among the projects that stood out to her the most was UNYF’s charity concert “National Code 2023”, where she was in charge of contests — fun, well-organized, and truly her own style.

Sofiia brings to UNYF her energy, sincerity, and a desire to be helpful. Her dream is to continue growing, to take part in more initiatives, and to do meaningful things for people. She believes in the growth of the organization, in new members, in even more events, and an even warmer community.

In her free time, Sofiia reads. Books, like desserts, are a breath of inspiration for her. She also dreams of opening her own small business in Canada — something that would carry a piece of Ukraine here, in the midst of new realities, new people, and new opportunities. Because the best things are made with love.
