Аліна народилася в Одесі — місті біля моря, яке вчить свободі, теплу й відкритості. У 2012 році вона переїхала до Канади, де разом із родиною почала будувати нове життя, зберігаючи глибокий зв’язок з Україною.

За освітою Аліна — бакалавр з фінансів. Сьогодні вона працює у відділі адміністративного забезпечення науково-дослідної діяльності в Університеті Альберти, поєднуючи професійну точність із людяністю та уважністю до деталей. Саме ці якості привели її до ролі скарбника МУНО — посади, яку вона сприймає як велику довіру і відповідальність.

До МУНО Аліна офіційно доєдналася у жовтні 2025 року, хоча волонтерила для організації ще задовго до цього. Для неї волонтерство — це момент, коли небайдужість перетворюється на дію. Це спосіб бути корисною там, де можеш, і робити свій внесок — навіть якщо він не завжди гучний, але стабільний і надійний.

В команді Аліна цінує передусім людей. Вона говорить про організацію як про спільноту підтримки, взаєморозуміння і спільних цінностей — простір, де навіть у складні часи знаходиш сили рухатися вперед. Саме поруч із цією командою вона навчилася не зупинятися, брати відповідальність і діяти разом, розуміючи справжню цінність єдності.

Аліна вірить у майбутнє МУНО як рушійної сили молоді в Канаді — організації, що передає досвід, знання й відповідальність наступним поколінням. Вона мріє бачити українську громаду Альберти більш згуртованою, активною та сміливою у своїх діях на підтримку України.

Поза волонтерством Аліна знаходить натхнення у книгах, грі на сцені в Театрі «Сузір’я» та подорожах — особливо автомобільних, які дають відчуття свободи й простору для думок. Вона відкрита до нового, любить виходити із зони комфорту, брати участь у творчих проєктах і створювати маленькі сюрпризи для людей навколо. За спокійною зовнішністю ховається тонке почуття гумору й тепла уважність до деталей повсякденного життя.

Її найбільше надихають батьки — їхня сила, працьовитість і здатність почати з нуля в новій країні стали для Аліни прикладом внутрішньої стійкості. Мрія Аліни — мир в Україні, власна сім’я та спокійне, щасливе життя, наповнене любов’ю, теплом і підтримкою.

Alina was born in Odesa — a seaside city that teaches freedom, warmth, and openness. In 2012, she moved to Canada, where she began building a new life together with her family while maintaining a deep connection to Ukraine.

By education, Alina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. Today, she works in the administrative support division for research activities at the University of Alberta, combining professional precision with humanity and close attention to detail. These qualities naturally led her to the role of UNYF Treasurer — a position she views as a great trust and responsibility.

Alina officially joined UNYF in October 2025, although she had been volunteering for the organization long before that. For her, volunteering is the moment when caring turns into action. It is a way to be useful where you can and to contribute — even if that contribution is not always loud, but steady and reliable.

Within the team, Alina values people above all else. She speaks of the organization as a community of support, mutual understanding, and shared values — a space where, even in difficult times, you find the strength to move forward. It was alongside this team that she learned not to stop, to take responsibility, and to act together, truly understanding the value of unity.

Alina believes in the future of UNYF as a driving force for youth in Canada — an organization that passes experience, knowledge, and responsibility on to future generations. She dreams of seeing the Ukrainian community in Alberta more united, active, and courageous in its actions in support of Ukraine.

Outside of volunteering, Alina finds inspiration in books, performing on stage at the Suziria Theatre, and traveling — especially road trips, which give her a sense of freedom and space for reflection. She is open to new experiences, enjoys stepping out of her comfort zone, participating in creative projects, and creating small surprises for those around her. Behind her calm exterior lies a subtle sense of humor and a warm attentiveness to the details of everyday life.

Her greatest inspiration comes from her parents — their strength, hard work, and ability to start from scratch in a new country became a powerful example of inner resilience for Alina. Her dream is peace in Ukraine, a family of her own, and a calm, happy life filled with love, warmth, and support.
