UNYF Edmonton
No matter the season, our youth stays active and involved to ensure that every Ukrainian in Edmonton has something to do and a chance to meet someone new. Our monthly social skating events during the winter months, bonfires and family picnics during the summer months, and art workshops and game nights in between, have all become the long-awaited events for every Ukrainian in Edmonton, and not only! All of these initiatives are a perfect opportunity to get out and meet new people, as well as to raise some more funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who are tirelessly defending our homeland. We are continuously working on new ideas for events to bring you all together as well as raise some funds for Ukraine! Everyone is welcome!

Cozy bonfire nights during the spring and summer months have become one of our most long awaited events in our community.
What could be better than sitting in front of a bonfire, having some hot dogs, roasting marshmallows, and singing our favourite Ukrainian songs? Just look at the atmosphere!
We also like to include lotteries and charity auctions at such events, where by donating you could get some unique prizes! As well, we like to collaborate and partner with other organizations to bring us more closer together!

And what could be better than embracing the Canadian winter activities and meeting new people over a hot cup of tea or coffee at a skating rink?
Skating evenings at Victoria Park have also become one of our community’s favourites! This event, like all others, is for all ages!

How about some games? Our favourite is Mafia! However, we collaborate with Board Games Edmonton and they have lots of other games as well as fun quests to offer!
The goal is to get together, socialize, have a good time, and make new acquaintances. Would you say no to that? Did we mention that there are usually snacks as well? Now you definitely won’t say no! These events usually target younger groups, but anyone is welcome!

We also like to collaborate with Artspacesol, a Ukrainian custom drawing souvenir business, who’s now also located in Edmonton, by organizing art workshops with the talented owner and artist!
And while you’re enjoying the atmosphere, there’s a high chance you’ll get some amazing photos from one of our talented team members!
How about enjoying a cool beverage with snacks while baking in the sunshine on a warm summer day? Or play some board games or sports? We have some amazing and talented team members who will exchange their baked goods for a donation for Ukraine. We’ll take care of everything, all we need from you is to invite your family and friends!
We also do photoshoots, garage sales, fitness activities and more! And everything raises funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its own way! Join us!
