Анна народилася у Львові та переїхала до Канади у 2013 році разом із сім’єю. Виросла у двох світах — канадському та українському — і саме завдяки українській діаспорі дізналася про традиції, мову та історію свого народу. Сьогодні вона — учениця 11 класу у Archbishop MacDonald Catholic High School, де бере активну участь у клубах Peer Support та Model UN.

У червні 2025 року Анна доєдналася до МУНО — і стала не просто учасницею, а частиною великої української спільноти. Вона з дитинства відвідувала цю домівку, а тепер має змогу долучатися до збереження культури вже як волонтерка. Для Анни волонтерство — це не лише допомога, а й участь у святкуваннях, концертах, традиційних подіях, які підтримують дух громади.

Найяскравіший досвід — підготовка до концерту Код Нації, де вона познайомилася з багатьма однодумцями. Улюблені завдання — допомога на фестивалях та культурних подіях. Через участь у МУНО Анна дізналася більше про українську музику, фільми, звичаї та, головне — про себе.

У майбутньому мріє розвивати лідерські якості та навички спілкування, брати ініціативу й бути ще кориснішою для громади. Хоче, аби до МУНО долучалося більше молоді, а в українській спільноті Альберти було більше єдності та взаємопідтримки.

Анна — творча й активна: обожнює катання на лижах, кемпінги, гітару, театр і читання. А ще — має потаємну пристрасть до малювання, зокрема змальовування архітектурних малюнків. Її надихає Ірина Фаріон — її знання, цілеспрямованість і любов до українського.

А мрія? Стрибнути з парашутом — сміливо, як і все, за що береться.

Anna was born in Lviv and moved to Canada with her family in 2013. She grew up between two worlds — the Canadian and the Ukrainian — and it was through the Ukrainian diaspora that she discovered the traditions, language, and history of her people. Today, she is a Grade 11 student at Archbishop MacDonald Catholic High School, where she actively participates in the Peer Support and Model UN clubs.

In June 2025, Anna joined UNYF — not just as a participant, but as a part of the greater Ukrainian community. Since childhood, she had been visiting the UNF Edmonton branch  “domivka”, and now she has the opportunity to help preserve the culture as a volunteer. For Anna, volunteering is not only about helping but also about being part of celebrations, concerts, and traditional events that uplift the community’s spirit.

Her most memorable experience was preparing for UNYF’s charity concert “National Code”, where she met many like-minded peers. Her favourite tasks involve helping at festivals and cultural events. Through UNYF, Anna has learned more about Ukrainian music, films, customs, and — most importantly — about herself.

In the future, she dreams of developing her leadership and communication skills, taking more initiative, and becoming even more useful to the community. She hopes more youth will join UNYF and that the Ukrainian community in Alberta will become even more united and supportive.

Anna is creative and active: she loves skiing, camping, playing guitar, theatre, and reading. She also has a secret passion for drawing — especially sketching architectural designs. Her inspiration is Iryna Farion — for her knowledge, determination, and love for everything Ukrainian.

And her dream? To skydive — boldly, just like she approaches everything she takes on.
