Film Description:
1970s. Andriy Dovzhenko – a young, creative, freedom-loving person, uncovers a terrifying truth – most of those accused of “anti-Soviet activities” were not sent to prison, but to special psychiatric hospitals, where they were given a diagnosis fabricated by the KGB – “sluggish schizophrenia.” Andriy finds himself in the true hell of punitive psychiatry. He faces a difficult choice – to cooperate with the KGB and return to his family or reveal the truth about the dissidents tortured in psychiatric hospitals.
