Марина переїхала до Канади у 2024 році — змушена війною, викликом, який для багатьох став болісною точкою змін. Але навіть далеко від дому вона не втратила віру в силу добра, силу громади — і свою суперсилу: громадську активність.

У МУНО вона — членкиня комітету статей і відповідальна за розсилку. Сама каже: не боїться витрачати свій час на цікаві справи, навіть безоплатно, якщо це — заради ідеї. Її енергія — це про залучення, відповідальність і готовність підставити плече, коли потрібно.

Марина створює статті для “New Pathway – Українські Вісті”, навчається писати статті, робити інтерв’ю, веде розсилки, а також відвідує мітинги — завжди з новим, яскравим плакатом. Її волонтерство — не лише активність, а й спосіб піклуватися про громаду через комунікацію, інформування, підтримку.

Вона бачить себе в ролі того, хто розвантажує перевантажених, хто допомагає не вигорати, хто бере на себе рутинну, але важливу частину — адміністрування. В її планах — розвиток документообігу проєктів МУНО, а в мріях — більше мерчу і більше нових людей у команді.

Її улюблене завдання — писати. А серед хобі — аналітика, читання, вишивання, трохи Data Science. І так, у неї чотири щеплення від COVID-19 — факт, який варто згадати, бо Марина завжди готова до нових викликів, навіть таких!

Надихають її — Андрій Мельник та Петро Дорошенко, кожен по-своєму залишивши слід в історії. А мрія Марини — тиха, тепла і дуже світла: стати пасічницею і годувати людей якісним медом. Бо навіть у великому шумному світі вона вірить у просте добро.

The Voice of the Community, Superheroine of Newsletters, and Future Beekeeper

Maryna moved to Canada in 2024 — forced by the war, a challenge that became a painful turning point for many. But even far from home, she never lost faith in the power of kindness, the strength of community — and her own superpower: civic engagement.

At UNYF, she’s a member of the “Publications” Committee and is responsible for editing and issuing the UNYF weekly newsletter. As she says: she’s “not afraid to spend time on interesting things, even without pay, if it’s for a good cause.” Her energy is all about engagement, responsibility, and being ready to lend a hand when needed.

Maryna writes articles for “New Pathway – Ukrainian News”, is learning how to write features, conduct interviews, manage newsletters, and she actively attends rallies — always with a fresh, vibrant poster. Her volunteer work is more than just an activity — it’s her way of caring for the community through communication, information-sharing, and support.

She sees herself as someone who helps lighten the load for others, who prevents burnout, and who takes on the routine but essential parts of work — administration. Her plans include improving project documentation for UNYF, and her dreams involve more merch and more new people joining the team.

Her favourite task is writing. Among her hobbies: analytics, reading, embroidery, and a little bit of Data Science. And yes, she has four COVID-19 vaccinations — a fun fact worth noting, because Maryna is always ready for new challenges, even those!

She draws inspiration from Andrii Melnyk and Petro Doroshenko — both of whom left a mark on history in their own way. And Maryna’s dream is quiet, warm, and full of light: to become a beekeeper and feed people with high-quality honey. Because even in a big, noisy world, she believes in simple goodness.
