The Ukrainian Drama Theater “Suzirya” presents Mykhailo Starytsky’s famous comedy “Chasing Two Hares” in our city!
So, who is chasing whom? Svyryd Holokhvosty is after Mr. Sirko’s wealth. And also after the tender, albeit poor, beauty Halya. But the women in this play are not to be underestimated. Pronia Prokopivna is desperately in love with her “smart and wealthy” fiancé, and her aunt Seklyta Lemyrykha is determined to get herself a son-in-law, a gentleman who has started courting her daughter Halya. But there is only one hare here for two hunters – and that is Holokhvosty.
